Carissa Wilson, C.V.T.
Carissa graduated from Mt. Ida College in 2008 with a Bachelor's in Veterinary Technology and passed her CVT exam that same year. She has loved working with animals since she was a young girl. Her life's goal was to become a cat when she grew up, when she realized this wasn't possible she decided to dedicate her life to the care of animals.
Carissa has been working in small animal hospitals since college. Carissa lives with her husband Joe, dog (Juno) and 4 cats (Lana, Obsidian, Pyrite and Scoot). In her free time she loves going to the beach, taking Juno for walks, spending time with family, and traveling to new places.
Jen has two passions in life, animals and sports. Growing up, she always planned on becoming a vet, but when it came time to go to college, she had to choose one path and the hockey world won. She worked in professional and collegiate sports for years. but then her love for our furry friends took over and she happily joined the veterinary world in 2012.
Jen is our front of house guru and is getting very handy with helping out back as well. She is always there to lend a hand, clean a mess and cuddle with all the patients!
The fella above was Jen’s best friend Pugsley, who she sadly lost this past May. He was the luckiest rescue ever and one day, she will rescue another!
